Trying to make a long distance call and having some problems, I decided to play around with my blog a little as I sit here and wait. I've always loved the "Inklings" blog and his posted photo, so I decided to imitate him by displaying a similar photo that I love.
I still like his better.

It's a toss up. While I'm definitely partial to "Mr. Inklings", it's hard to vote against "The Duke".

John Wayne is better. Bogart is sort of a mix; his characters always a little greasy but ultimately doing the right thing (Casablanca).
I know what you mean Terry. My wife and sat and watched "Donovan's Reef" and were shocked when we realized The Duke was going to end up being the bad guy. I remember shouting "that's sacrilegious!" I still think it's a most excellent picture of Bogart. It's really kind of funny, I realized recently that when I think of you, my mind sees that picture of Bogart along with all the coolness projected. That's when I decided that I wouldn't be all that hurt if when someone thought of me, their mind saw a picture of a suave Duke.
