Now it seems that children don't even realize these movies started out as books.

I try to regulate what my children watch. And I love my DVR -- allows me to cut out commercials that kids soak in like sponges. It's harder when they get older, though, and it's the computer that's the wild card. Home and school is one thing, but you are never sure how it's monitored at friends' houses and YouTube, among others, has everything imaginable.Jolynhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15511682180313702603noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4071272881938627405.post-6964376031246687322008-08-21T13:15:00.000-07:002008-08-21T13:15:00.000-07:00Well put; you're right. The majority of the media ...Well put; you're right. The majority of the media industry is spiraling into the depths of progressive and morally bankrupt writing. Daily, even hourly, atrocious situations and actions are hurled at people who in the past rarely confronted such egregious occurrences. These multimedia encounters may still shock and dismay some, but overall, the general public indiscriminately lets this filth stream into their homes and numb their children and themselves to idiocy and to evil, all in the name of "entertainment".Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4071272881938627405.post-48037465263518233172008-08-18T14:14:00.000-07:002008-08-18T14:14:00.000-07:00Well put. It always does come back to parental responsibility but at what point should we all have to suffer the consequences of irresponsible parents and the easy access to such smut. Its to justify and we are literally rationalizing our way to hell! Great post! :)NNikkihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06506161645223765063noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4071272881938627405.post-57874754398900077332008-08-16T05:17:00.000-07:002008-08-16T05:17:00.000-07:00We find ourselves ALLOWING ourselves to be harmed ...We find ourselves ALLOWING ourselves to be harmed (especially our Spirits) on an almost daily basis. Even the commercials themselves, which are so deceptive and of bad taste, much less the programing.
SusanSusanhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11360047123820906113noreply@blogger.com
